                                          Dad, Derek and Lance were able to get the tracks off the 4 wheeler
                                          for the summer.  I think it was easier to get them off than put them on.

Saturday, May 28.Memorial Day--visit to the cabin.

                                
We made a visit to the Driggs Cemetary and the Vistor Cemetary for Memorial Day.
Dad, Mom, Becky, Derek, Wendy and her kids and Kendra and Jared and there kids made it with us.

                                         We went into the cabin and they were having a good time playing games.

                                            Let the games begin.

Then the brave took a little walk.

There is still so much snow up the road that you can't go to far.

Michael was able to drive the pickup in but the rest

walked part of the way in.

It was pretty nice at the cabin.  No wind and warmer that in the Valley.

Friday May 27---The grandkids are all out of school.

                                          Since the Welch kids were out of school they came to
                                          spend some time with us Friday afternoon.  They were
                                          happy to be out of school.  Micah and Tyler spent the
                                          night with us.  Derek was here also.

Notice how tall the bowl of potatoes are.

Derek mashed them and dished

them up.

Later the Black Family came for the weekend.

Becky helped him put it up today.

It looks really nice and will be so much better that what we had before.

Windy, cool day.

It was so windy today that we have all kinds of pinecones on the yard.

Guess we will have to get some grandkids to pick them up for us this weekend.

May 25--Derek's Birthday!

 Hope you had a good birthday Derek.

I got 4 free flowers at the nursery in Hibbard the other day.

Here they are planted.  Cosmos!

Here are the 4 free vegetables I got.  Cabbage is all they had left.

So I have 4 cabbages planted.

Celebrate Derek's birthday a day early.

                                          We had Derek open his presents in the pickup after we ate.

Here are Becky and Derek at Chuck A Grandmas to celebrate Derek's

birthday tomorrow.

It was oriental night and they enjoyed the shrimp.

They were reading the fortunes from the fortune cookies.



Good rain this morning.

 If you look close you can see the raindrops on the chokecherry blossoms on the trees which are just beginning to bloom.  I look really revived with the rainstorm.

This is one of the new cosmos I got free at the nursery this morning.

It was raining to hard so I haven't got it planted yet.

I washed my Temple Dress today and so it is fresh and ready to go.

We worked at the Temple this morning.



Gstting skit for reunion.

 Notice the sun set.  Only one problem the

sun doesn't set in the East.

Funny.

Today I started to write out skit for our family reunion.  Now all I have to do is type it up.

Purple petunias in the hanging  pot by the shed.  I love all the pretty flowers around.

Tuesday, May 17--Dad cleaning out shed.

                                        Dad was working hard cleaning out the shed this week.  Those shelf have

never been so clean.  Today the city picked up the pile in back of the shed.  It looks good.

Monday May 16, 2011-Planted plant from Katrina and Lance

                                         Look at how beautiful our cherry tree is in the yard.
                                          Those pink blossoms are very pretty.  Across the
                                             road, Arnells apricot trees are blooming.

                                        We had the Bates' out in force today to clean at the cabin.

We did have a few problems. 

A pipe broke upstairs and sent the water

through the ceiling to our bathroom below.  So I had

to bring all the towels home to wash as they were

all wet.  Then we couldn't get anys hot

water.  Guess the element is

burned out.

Katrina heated up water to wash the dishes.
