These bronze statues are in Dr. Wilsons office where we took Dad today to get his stiches out of his back. I prefer natures beauty I guess.
These flowers are along the road just before we got to Dr. Wilsons office. I think they are really beautiful. I love flowers and plants if you didn't know. Enjoy what is around us. Winter is coming on soon.
I didn't feel so good last night so didn't post my pictures last night so here they are for Wednesday September 29. Both pies and pansies are eatable did you know?
We ate half of the raspberry/peach pie and didn't even eat one pansy. The pansies do look good enough to eat don't they? I agree with Dad, I like the apple pies better.
What beautiful faces are on pansies. They are different each one. Reminds me of the Primary song "Little Purple pansies dressed with solid gold". Have a good day!
Last night I went out in our back yard and saw a beautiful sunset. It was so peaceful. I am glad I was able to capture some of the beautiful colors.
Today was much more stressful as I bottled 14 quarts of peaches, and prepared some fruit for shortcake and pies. Hope you had a good day.
After we cut down the dead tree by the swing in back I had to hang my things in different places. This hummingbird is now hanging from the big pine tree in back.
Now my chimes that Kendra and Jared gave me are hanging on the clothes line. This past week havs been very windy and I love the sound of it. I'm not sure if Becky feels the same way or not.
We are going to have a few apples on the tree nearer to Gages. Koria and Kimball would love to taste them I'm sure. 
Maybe Koria will say that you were "revealing" in this picture. I said I don't dare send that picture and Becky and your Dad assured me that you would get a laugh out of it. So Ha Ha. Told you I would get a picture on you.
This is our home today and I have lived here for 38 years this month. We were not in it for 5 months after the flood, but we were in it at least 6 days out of the 7 each week getting it ready to move back into. It used to have gold siding on it, but I like the blue better. I have lived here a lot longer than in the home I grew up in, in Cedron.
This is what the home place looked like in 1961 in Cedron. I lived in this home for 13 years. It looks different since Uncle Lyle built onto it. Notice the log shed to the right of my home, this is our old old home where I lived for the first 6 years of my life.
This picture was taken of my home just before I went on my mission in April 1961. Home is where your heart is. I have been blessed with a good family and good homes.
This is a piture of my alovera plant before I divided it and replanted it. Dad got the pots ready for me. I also repoted the lilly from a lilly that my Mom had.
Here are the peaches after I peeled some and some in the water before I peeled them. Becky helped me.
I bottled 7 quarts of peaches today. We will really enjoy them this winter.
Derek doesn't seem so happy.
This is the only one that needs an explaination. Katrinas feet got so cold in Montana that she warmed them up in the sink. She also warmed up rice bags and sat on them in the car when she went to work. Is Idaho warmer Katrina?
Mariah abd Tyler sure liked those rides, just like the kids do the 4 wheeler and motorcycle rides.
Aunt Becky sure loved those only two grandkids at that time.
Shanell, and Kendra looked cute in their matching dresses. Bet Derek was glad he didn't have a matching shirt. After the flood they gave me a bolt of material and all the girls had matching dresses.

Sorry, you are doing a double take. I had another picture from the end of the porch, but put in the same one two times. Does it look any different? Dad and I went up to the cabin yesterday, September 23, and painted the white on the front porch. I seemed to get paint all over, even in my hair. Matt hasn't got the rock on top of the retaining wall yet. Sorry, Koria, this might bring back bad memories, like mud in the eyes.

The first day of Fall, September 23, at 5:30 AM. I went up there to try to get a picture as I was not going to the Temple today.

It looks so different from different angles. It was nice to just relax and look around at the scenery. Beautiful.
As you can see the colors are changing at the cabin. Dad and I went up on Tuesday and stayed overnight. On the way up we saw a lot of the farmers who were harvesting grain. I think Lynn abd Lyle are almost done with harvesting and Wayne is done.

Before I had Lance and Derek move the flower planter to the back for the winter, I put my flower pots on both sides of the porch and down the sidewalk. This is part of them. Aren't they pretty. Kaitlyn and Kedryn watered them for me. Things look a lot different around our yard now. Come see it!
Today was a work day at the Bates home in Sugar. Lance and family and Derek came to help us do the work. And it was work ask any of them. I maybe even a little stiff tomorrow. Lance used the chain saw and Derek was there to cayy it away. Also Dad and Becky did lots of work and they had some good workers as you can see below. We really appreciated all of their work. Derek and Lance moved all of the manure pile to the garden area which took quite a bit of time. Katrina had to take care of that little Ashlyn who is getting cuter every day so she was inside. Thanks for all of your help. We do appreciate it. Things look really good around here now.
