Today, Dad and I met Wendy at her place and picked her up.

Lance met us over at the church also.

It was a nice funeral.

I had to get up and go out during the last musical number.

This morning I had the 4 hour shift alone at the Temple.

By the time I got home I was in lots of pain.

I took a cool bath and then  I got a "charley horse" in my foot.

I couldn't get Dad to hear me for awhile.

I finally got out of tub and the water was cold by then.

Hope I caan sleep tonight.

I finally got the three cribs hemed that Becky and I did at the cabin

last week.  Becky did most of them. 

One top left is for Luke for his B. D,

Seems he loves to carry  them all around with him.

The other 2 is for the next grandchildren in our family.  Just in case.

This is their 3rd daughter married this year.

They have some nice kids.

Sunday, June 24 - Congratulations Jared.

Kendra called saturday afternoon and told us Jared was being put in as

Stake President tomorrow.

Becky hurried and packed as was gone in a few minutes to go

down there.  Wish I coud have gone.

It is hard to tell by this picture, but Becky washed all of the windows

at it looks so much nicer.  Thanks Becky.

Last Friday night, 22nd of June we went to watch the group

called "Eclipse" that Katrinas brother Paul is a member of.

They were very good.

Kaitlyn, stood up on some of the songs and really got into it.

June 20-Little fuzzy peaches

On the 20th I got a pictures of llittle fuzzy

peaches on one of our peach trees.  Amazing!!

FATHERS DAY 2012

Today is Father's Day.

Yesterday. Wendy and Lance and families came and celebrated

it with Dad.  Peter has measured the porch for a handrail

so we shall see when it is done.

The grandkids picked up pinecomes yester for Grandpa Bates

for Father's Day.  Today Shanell,

Rod and kids came and visited.

He appreciates all your calls and visits.

He talked to Kendra and Derek also.

Before they went, the kids got some buckets and picked up all of

the pine cones around the yard.  Thank you.

FATHER'S DAT CELEBRATION A DAY EARLY.

Today we had lunch at our home for Dad for Father's Day Tomorrow.

I can't say enought about the beautiful day that we had.

It was a ideal temputure and NO Wind.  Unbelievable.

Lance and Wendy's families were here.

Shanell and Derek's families couldn't make it because Shanell

and Marcie were on call.  We missed you and also

Kendra and her family.

It was our first meal outside this year and it was so nice.

Sunday's are much to hard to get everyone together.

They had an Airplane show in Rexburg, and we saw some

of them also in the sky.

My rose by the shed is starting to bloom.  It is so velvety and soft.

Becky got them at the $ tree store in IF.

I bought some little shelfs and Becky organized Dad's pills.

Now maybe I can keep track of them.

Becky was helping Dad build another shelf in back of the lean-two addition on the shed.

While we were watching Luke and Layne this week, Micah came on

Thursday and stayed overnight and helped Becky.

Then Shanell brought her kids,  onm Friday morning.

She got some raspberry starts and the kids had fun playing together.
