Scott's birthday and April Conference.

Becky snuck out to prune the apple trees right after breakfast.

Then it was windy and colder.  It did clear up a little nicer.

Lance came and helped Dad trade the 4 wheeler with the tracks on it to

the one without.  He helped fix the tail light on the trailer.

Now he need the boys to help him take off the tracks until fall.

They covered the 4 wheeler back up with the tarp.

Dad babies those machines.

We got to watch confeerence in the morning and Becky and Dad

went out and weeded out by the front of the house.

I planned on doing it Monday, but no one listens to me.

We finally did it!

Thanks to Beckys hard work we have finally been able to do some Temple work

for some of our relatives. 

We were able to stand in for 7 couples being sealed, and the parents

for 3 boys and 1 girl.

This is something I have always wanted to do.

Time for the Newspaper announcement.

Sorry this is turned sidesway.  Today I took the picture in for the Wedding

Announcement to the newspaper.  It is supposed to be in the

Tuesday Standard Journal next Tuesday.

Becky wrote up the announcement for me.

It is one of the nice pictures that Kendra took in Provo for them.

Dad is happy to be back home where he can work. March 27 and 28

Yesterday Dad bought a attachment for the lawn tracter so it can rake up grass,

I guess you could say mulch it.

Becky and I helped him a little, but he did most of it himself.

See how it works!  I think he is enjoying himself.

He is definately a workaholic.

Becky, Dad and I made a fast trip to Cedron to Lynns place to

get the back drops for our Open House.

Their 3 dogs were not happy with us, but they were all

bark and no bite thank goodness.

Lynn and Penny are in St. George.

March 23 and 24th. A mix.

Everyone is waiting outside watching for the bride and groom to come out.

It looks good enough to each.  Thank you family for all of your help.

We had lots of little helpers also.

There was plenty of food.

Guess I thought it would clear up.  Ha!  Ha!  Think I am tired.

This is what our tables looked like for the luncheon at the church building.

Scott and Rod poured the water for our lunch.

Everyone was trying to get pictures I think.  We should have plenty between us all.

We saw some of Kendras today and she got some great ones of the couple.

March 23, 24th

This is the Chandler Temple which is being built.

We were watching the ducks in the pond and park across the road from the the

new Temple being built.

We took a walk around the Mesa Temple grounds on the 23rd so Kendra

could tell were to take pictures tomorrow for

Derek and Marcie.

They just came out of the Temple and look very happy.

We are all happy to have Marcie in our family now.

We picked a very beautiful day to fly.  It was nice and sunny and clear.

Anyone know where this is?

This is the airport in Mesa.  Look at the cacti.  It is  quite a bit different from the

Idaho Falls Airport.  It was so nice.

She is reaching high to get those grapefruits at Burgones home.

We got some organges also.

They really tasted good for breakfast the next morning.

Dad is sitting at their table in their dining area.  Ellen had us for

supper on the 22nd.  It was very nice of her.

Dad is trying out our bed in the house we rented with the Blacks.

The bed was great and we both slept good.

The house that Jared rented for us was really nice.  Thanks Jared.

We were loading up Lance's trailer so Marcie and Derek will be ready to take

hospital with his broken neck and they had him try to stand up.

March 8--Full moon.

I planned on getting some different pictures tonight but forgot.

Bonnie took , Glen, Rilla, Lyle, Kelly, your Dad and me out to eat at Applebees.

It was to celebrate my birthday late.

I got home and remembered I hadn't got my pictures even though

my camera was in my pocket, so I tried to take the moon over Arnells house.

We received the invitations for Derek and Marcies Wedding and receptions.

We received the invitations on Tuesday the 6th and took them out to the ward

members that night.  Dad drove us around and

Becky and I ran into the houses.

Where were you grandkids when we needed you?

I also sent the one to Scotland and the one to Canada.

A week from Wed. is our Relief Society Birthday Party.

This is the theme for it.

Becky had to make the invitations and deliver them to the sisters.

It is one the 14th, but I'm not sure we are going.

It was so good to see the sunshine.  The clouds were in unusual shapes also.

Sunday visitors

Today when we got home from church today we had some visitors.

It was a surprise to see them.

They went to Utah thisweekend for the baptism of Katrinas nephew.

They needed to bring her neice back to Rexburg so we were glad to visit with them.

Today we had a lesson in R. S. on this book.

I had to give a short report on chapter 4.

They didn't have time for all of them.
