Harvest Moon - Jupiter

This picture was taken across the road above Arnell's home. This was taken Wednesday 22 at about 7:30 PM. The small white dot below moon is the planet Jupiter.
The first day of Fall, September 23, at 5:30 AM. I went up there to try to get a picture as I was not going to the Temple today.
This is our home when I got home. Notice Dad is up of course and the garage light was on. It was kinda fun to sneek away without anyone knowing. It is 6:22 Am right now. Think this is the earliest I have ever posted a blog. Have a good day. Mom

A walk in the forest, on Tuesday 21

Mountain Ash
wild daisy
clover blossems
leaf from wild geranium - notice the colors are changing

A child's eyeview!

As I sat up on the top porch at the cabin, I thought it must not be too good of a view for a child. Now wonder they want to stich their heads through the slates. If you get down at their level it looks like prison walls. It looks so different from different angles. It was nice to just relax and look around at the scenery. Beautiful.

Fall is in the air- Tuesday 21st.

As you can see the colors are changing at the cabin. Dad and I went up on Tuesday and stayed overnight. On the way up we saw a lot of the farmers who were harvesting grain. I think Lynn abd Lyle are almost done with harvesting and Wayne is done.

KNOTHOLE VIEW

I took this picture of a knothole in our fence by the road. Cool isn't it. Look below for the view through the knothole. Reconize Barrus's house. Take a peek!

Flowers moved to porch

Before I had Lance and Derek move the flower planter to the back for the winter, I put my flower pots on both sides of the porch and down the sidewalk. This is part of them. Aren't they pretty. Kaitlyn and Kedryn watered them for me. Things look a lot different around our yard now. Come see it!

Three trees bit the dust today

Today was a work day at the Bates home in Sugar. Lance and family and Derek came to help us do the work. And it was work ask any of them. I maybe even a little stiff tomorrow. Lance used the chain saw and Derek was there to cayy it away. Also Dad and Becky did lots of work and they had some good workers as you can see below. We really appreciated all of their work. Derek and Lance moved all of the manure pile to the garden area which took quite a bit of time. Katrina had to take care of that little Ashlyn who is getting cuter every day so she was inside. Thanks for all of your help. We do appreciate it. Things look really good around here now.
Look at that big pile to have the city pick up in October.
Thanks Kids. Thanks Becky, Derek and Lance.
