Sunday October 9

I wanted a picture of the Blacks before they went back.

As you can see, the two little ones were not happy with this.

October 8. Nicole got baptized today and all of our family were here.

This picture was taken before Nicoles Baptism.

We got a picture with her Dad, Aunt Becky, Luke, Kimball and Koria.

Doesn't Nicole look nice after her baptism.

The day turned out to be beautiful and the kids were able to eat outside.

The food was great Lance and Katrina.

It was good to see some of your family also Katrina.

Mandy joined our grandkids and fit right in.

Grandpa teased her also.

They were having a nice visit before eating.

The kids were having fun having help from the grownups to carve their pumpkins.

We were at Wendy's home for this and she furnished the pumpkins.

The kids and Derek and Tyler (who I didn't get in the picture) played with

the kids on the yard.

Then Becky had a bunch of Halloween odds and ends and the

kids had fun taking turns choosing what they wanted.

Friday October 7

Layne really enjoys her Mom and Dad.

They make her laugh.

The kids really enjoy it in the familyroom.One of the main reasons is because Becky

is usually there. 

Thur. October 6--1st snow

We had snow on the ground today.

I'm sure not ready for winter yet.

The Black family came tonight.

The last roses of summer I quess.

It didn't stay on the ground very long.

I was glad the roads were okay for Kendra and Jared.

Rain, rain and more rain. The sun has disappeared.

Becky's car is parked in a puddle.

Today it has been a lot colder and dreary.

I all ready miss the sunshine.

I really hate to have Fall come.

The past 3 weeks have been wonderful.

Apples, apples and more apple. Tuesday Oct 4.

Becky used the ladder to pick the apple on the top of the one tree

closest to Gages place.

We left the lower ones for the kids to  pick.

They are some very nice apples.

I peeled the apples and Becky cut them up and we froze them for pies.

We will let you know how it turns out if I ever get a pie made.

Monday Oct. 3 Work in garden

We were glad to have Becky back tonight from Kendras.

Monday morning Dad and I took care of the iris plants.

I cut them off and Dad raked them up and carried them off to the pile.

Kendra sent us lots of beautiful flowers and fresh produce.

Look at the beautiful boquet I made.

They are so beautiful and big.

You can tell what colors I picked out.

The others are in another vase.
