Plums anyone?

Today I picked the plums I could reach with a ladder. This is the last time I will pick this plum tree. No one likes it but me and so tomorrow Lance and Derek are going to cut it down for me. Lance hates the plum trees so he will be happy. One of the thorns stuck into his leg when he was a kid and we had to take him to the Docter so he doesn't have fond memories of them. The tree is shading two of our smaller pine trees so we need to give them room. Good bye plum tree and two quakers and maybe another tree.

Docters Fancy Offices

You wonder where all our money goes. Look at the fancy new offices of the Docters we visit. The first one is Dr. Harpers new office in Rigby.
Now here is Dr. Wilson's office. It looks like a castle doesn't it? We were there today with Dad and he got the bandage changed. It looks like quite the long cut. The stiches are about a half an inch apart and it goes for about 10 inches. We go back in two weeks to get the stiches out. The Docter says it looks fine. When you go in the front door you are greated with some statues, bronze ones of you guessed it shhh (undressed) bodies. He is not LDS but very nice. Hope we don't have to pay for part of this building. We are just glad he did the surgery and that Dad is doing so well. Our prayers have been answered. Thanks for all of your fasting and prayers. The Docter is really confused as he has never had this happen before when he couldn't find the lymph glands. Miracles do happen.
Speaking of miracles. Each one of you grandchildren are miracles to us. Katrina's parents have been there for a week, at least her Mom has and I'm sure she will miss their help as they went back today. We had a nice lunch with them. Thanks. Isn't "cinderfella" special?

Peaches, peaches, peaches

No mater what light you see them in, peaches are beautiful and they taste great. The name of this peach is Zip Lady, a new one. The top one is taken with my camera with normal color and the bottom is taken with a twilight setting. Interesting! Which do you like best?

It's here!!!!

The rose or roses of summer. Enjoy them while we can. Fall is in the air.
I'm sure going to miss hearing the chimes and seeing the wind movers. They will still be out there in the winter but I won't be out there so much and I won't hear the chimes because the windows won't be open. Hopefully we will have an indian summer.
It is finally here. Becky got her new laptop today. Now she has to install a bunch of programs and figure out how to use it. She has been waiting for it the whole week. (2 days) Dad was sitting right by here to see what was up.

Uncle Pete brought some flowers over to Dad on Sunday.
Nothing like clean sheets from the line. They sure smell good. The bread I made smelt good also. So I guess you can say I had a smelly day. HA HA

September 11, 2010

Dad has a 10 inch long insision with a lot of stiches. I think we overdid it when we went to Idaho Falls yessterday but we really wanted to see that new grandchild.
You don't often see Dad lying down in the afternoon. He was feeling rather sick at his stomach. Hope he gets feeling better soon. Thanks for all of your prayers.
