SNOW CAPPED MOUNTAINS

Today Dad and I went to the cabin to see if the heat was allright in the bathrooms. These are some big juicy snow berries behind the cabin. Too bad we can't eat them, but the birds like to eat them. When you see big berries like this it usually means a hard winter. Guess we will see. Snow capped mountains-The Tetons My favorite mountains On our way home, we went through Driggs instead of the shortcut and we stopped so I could get this picture just before you enter the Valley. As you can see there is a lot more snow now. The mountain to the far left is Freds mountain where they have a ski hill.

PIzza and icecream

Tonight I was lazy and bought a pizza for supper and Derek wasn't even here.....Becky and Dad didn't complain.
Then to finish it off we had to have a Klondike bar. It was so goooood.
This morning Dad and I did sealings at the Temple. Next year we hear they will not have any assignments, just volunteers. We have really enjoyed doing this for the past 5 years about.

Visit at the Otteson Home

We took some apples and produce over to Shanells home and had a visit with her and these two boys who were full of life. They showed us how they can ride their "motorcycles" as Landon calls them. They showed us their pumpkins that were on their front porch. Landon has his blue saber. They bought a special saber for cade to go with his costume, but due to you know what, he has to wait awhile to get it. Sound familiar Kendra. These Boys (aren't they special)?
They have a new photo of their family. I took a picture of the whole family but it was hard because of the reflection but you can see it anyway. Their individual pictures are very nice. You need to see the real thing. I told here because they were all in Black, it fits right in with the title of your blog Kendra.
It is ia very nice family picture Shanell. You have a neat family.

Secretariat

Today Grandpa had his checkup with the dermatoligist and the news was so good that we decided to celebrate. We had a rare "date" and went to a movie that I wanted to see. We both enjoyed it very much. I remember watching some of these races in 1972 and 1973. It was exciting to see it in a film. Afterwards we went and got some fast food.

Sunday October 31, Is it Christmas yet?

Becky put her Christmas decorations up downstairs and Koria wanted to know what decorations we had upstairs. So Koria, I turned on my rose lights above my TV. Thats all I've done so far.

New pictures on fridge

Becky organized my spice cubbard. She doesn't think it looks better but I know it does.
Look at all my new pictures on the fridge. You will have to come and see it. It looks great!!
Yes I have a lot I know, but it seems like my family is here. Becky took the old pictures off for me a couple of days ago and it looked so empty and cold. Now it is all warm again. I love each one of you and I sit at my chair by the table and look at all of you. I am so blessed to have such a wonderfull family. Come on to my house and see them.

Burn those needles

You saw my blog yesterday showing the big pile of needles we put in the garden. Today Dad burned them up. They caused quite a smoke that didn't smell to good, but we are glad they are gone.
This is a little scary. I wanted to take a picture of Becky's window that Koria and Kimball helped her decorate. Then I saw my reflection and wondered what it would look like. One big Booo from me to you.
