Trip to Idaho Falls-Thursday

We had to take Dad to the heart Dr. in Idaho falls on Thursday.

Afterwards we went to Wendy's and she took us out to eat along with

her three kids who are out for spring break.

As you can see, it was cold and snowing lightly.  She took us to a new

place Panda Chinese food and it was good.  They got more snow overnight, even

more than we did.  Becky and Derek had snow on their way to Kendras.



We have a tiny flower.

Notice the vinca plant has one purple blossem on it.  It looks encouraging though

today has been mixed with sunshine, rain, wind and snow.

And it is cold.  

Working in the Raspberries

The snowbirds were in the bird feeder when I went out to change the batteries on the clock.  Notice how much food they have already eaten.  It has been raining today so I am glad they have something to eat.

Today I've been cutting out the dead raspberries - it was really windy.  Dad made me stop before I got the last row done.  At least I got a start on them, though.  I only have a half a row left.

                                           They made a mess also.  Guess thats half of the fun.

                                          While some were on Skype the others were having
                                      ball, throwing the swissy balls to each other.  Looks like fun.

                                                         part of the adults.

April Conference at the Bates home

                                             Landon and Elise were enjoying visiting with them.  Thanks Kendra.

Mariah was upstairs and she was listening to all of the speakers.  Elder Bednar was on right now. 

 I went downstairs to get some pictures and Derek and Micah were watching.  I didnot show the picture of how the other kids were downstairs.  Maybe tomorrow.

We were all watching conference. 

Wendy was keeping good notes of each speaker.

I'll bet she will do the best in the quiz Kendra.

Dad was tired about then.



April conference-saturday session

This morning Dad and Becky tried to load the basketball hoop to take to Kendras.

They tried a lot of different methods and it was very hard.

Finally they were able to get it loaded without hurting anyone.

Today was Conference and it had a lot of things to help you think about.

I'm so glad we have these conferences twice a year.

We are so blessed to have a Prophet at the head of out Church to lead

us in the way we should go.

President Thomas Spencer Monson has a great responsibility to lead this Church.

We need to listen and try to change our lives for the better.

I know I have many shortcomings that I need to work on.

I hope all of you get to listen to their messages today and tomorrow.

Congratulations Lance!

Lance is in Washington D.C. tonight to get a special award.

He said he had to wear a tux.

I hope he has a nice time.

He doesn't have a tux on here. I wonder if he is having

more fun in Washington D. C.
