Micah made it, who is next?
Way to do Kendra!

What a beaautiful sunset I took on my four wheeler ride. Just beautiful wasn't it, Lance and Dorrin?
A great ending to a beautiful day!

Nightime of Friday 3rd. September.

Friday September 3, cont.

Jared would never forgive me if I didn't include this photo. He posed for me you know.
Derek had lots of help putting together the new game lasso golf that I bought. Some of the kids really enjoyed it. Kimball and Kaitlyn had quite a contest with it.

Labor Day weekend at the Cabin with whole family

So many pictures to chose from. We started a great weekend at the cabin on Friday Sept. 3rd.That night we had Kendra and Jared and family, Derek, and Lance and Katrina and family there. It was a nice day. Layne was enjoying the view. I imagine the trees looked pretty tall to her, even taller than her parents. The three of them had a nice swing in the wood swing. It was a beautiful day.
Dorrin couldn't wait for a 4 wheeler ride. That was one of the most fun activities during the time up there. I even got a good ride in and saw a beatiful sunset of the Tetons.

Which place is best?

Today was a little stressful. We went to IF and got to see Katrina and the boys which was nice. Then we had to go to Dr. Bill Wilson about Dad's melanoma. He talked to us awhile and tried to explain everthing. We decided to go ahead and do what he suggested. So Dad will drink some radioactive shake Monday night and again Monday morning before we go to IF and get a CAT scan done. Then on Wednesday we will go down and he will do a procedure called sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy. After that he will discuss with us what the biopsy shows and we will decide what to do from there. One good thing about being in IF is that we have to eat so we decided to go to "Chuck a Grandma's" and went inside where there was a long, long line. We looked at the menue and it was Mexican so we decided to go elsewhere.
So you can see that Sizzler won out. We each had a lunch saladbar which was good as usual.
During lunch they called from the Hospital and asked us to come over and get the stuff Dad has to take before the CAT scan and to get somemore lab work done. Dad fills like a pin cushion.
Kendra, Jared and kids are on their way home and we will go up to the cabin sometime after we get home from the Temple. Hope to see you all there.

Welcome to our home

Yesterday I realized I hadn't changed my shovel welcome by the front door. I was still on spring and missed summer alltogether. Shanell gave me this many years ago. I don't know when the first day of fall is but I put it up anyway. I've been to busy to take a picture today. Grocery shopping, washing early this week, lunch, dead headed my flowers outside and moved two iris clumps. Yesterday was the last day of the month so I needed to get my Relief Society reports in to Jen Black who is the secretary. I have 4 women under me who are to call me with their reports. One called and I called the rest. Two called last night but one is always slow. I finally called her at 2 o'clock and she had only heard from 3 beats and needed another 8. I asked her if she wanted me to call them but she said she would do it. Guess what, it is almoost 7:30 and no reports yet. I hate taking them out in the dark. I need to take them to the R. S. President also and I need to make up the report. As you can tell waiting is not my favorite thing. I've been doing this for 4 and 1/2 years. Maybe I should let someone else do it.
