These piles of pine needles look familiar

Dad has been out raking up pine needles again. He thinks that he
has as many needles as he did last fall.
Looks like we will have to have another bonfire.
Dad is ready to cut one of these Scotch pines down and I can't see that I would
blame him. It is a lot of work.

    But you would miss the beauty and the shade too. They've been around for as long as I can remember.
