Tue, March 8-Dad's haircut and R S Dinner

Dad got a hair cut today. Now it is shorter than mine.

Just barely he says.

Tuesday night Becky and I went to the Relief Society "Birthday" party.

It was nice, but was too long.

I was just getting up to rest my legs and maybe leave early

when they announced the closing song and the

prayer by Sister Sharon Bates.

I was very surprised, as I couldn't remember them asking

me to do it. I gave the prayer though and

afterwards told Becky that I didn't know I was supposed

to give the closing prayer. She laughed

and said she had been asked to do it by Jen Black and that she

probly just told the lady taking charge that Sister

Bates was giving the prayer and she thought it was me.

At least I didn't have to worry about it the whole evening as Becky

said she did.

Becky and I had to sit at different tables as each table was for a month of the year, and each one was decorated differently by one person at the table. They put a lot of work into this night. We had a nice meal. We took a salad for it.
